Director Steve Westergren spent his early childhood years in Cambodia, as the son of a seasoned publisher. Returning to Cambodia in 1990, Steve’s desire was to see a flourishing publishing ministry once again raised up for the Church in Cambodia. In ­­­­2004 that dream came to fruition as Fount of Wisdom opened her doors for service.

Fount of Wisdom’s first publication was Dara Pen’s outstanding piece, Ephesians. Though this biblical scholar and author died just weeks before the book was first distributed, Dara Pen’s work lives on for generations to come through the written page.

Today Fount of Wisdom, located at 11A, St. 2002, Tuk Thla, Phnom Penh, employs 6 full time Cambodian publishing professionals. One of those professionals is currently in training to step into the director role in 2010. This will be the culmination of Steve’s dream for Fount of Wisdom…to see Cambodian Christians effectively leading this key publishing ministry into the future!

Fount of Wisdom never sits back, resting on the accomplishments of the past.
